Dan & Pamela Robertson

Dan has been serving as the Webmaster, photographer and Director (9 years) for the Vernon Jazz Society since the Club's conception.

He is married to Pamela Robertson,  Pamela helps with the website, acting as editor and takes many of the outstanding pictures that are featured on many jazz and blues websites. She enjoys playing her grand piano and taking Dan out fishing.

Dan, a musician, is involved with several  worship bands in the Okanagan area, and presently plays trumpet, flugel horn and Shofar with the Graham Ord Band in Kelowna.

Over the years, several thousand pictures of the musicians and patrons at each gig have been taken.

Don`t be surprised when Dan asks if he can take your picture for the website!

Our primary goal to to provide VJS patrons with information on upcoming gigs and the various happenings down at the Club.

We have grown from a local jazz club into an internationally recognized venue, attracting some of the best jazz and blues musicians of our day.  Website stats show that our site receives hits from across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Musicians have dubbed the Club as a "Jazz Oasis" for patrons and musicans alike and we have been likened to the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York.
